Training Report on Rural Social Service (RSS) in Urban Area

Social service activities for solution of problems emerged form industrial revolution has got scientific and professional status. This scientific and professional method of sustainable problem solution is social work. 
Social welfare helps to achieve holistic welfare (Physical, mental, social, family, and economic) of all problem people by creating constructive and favorable social, economic and cultural environment. Social welfare helps problems person, group and community in such a way they can be self reliant and conscious to solve their problems and in decision making. Social worker has to be theoretical knowledge oriented for this purpose. 
Social welfare is such a practical social science which acquires knowledge about society and men of the society and takes actions to analyze and solve problems by availing that knowledge. 
I tried to learn within a short time field work how to solve the problem and what is the situation in our society. 
Finally, I am indebted to my parents for their support and encouragement. I am also indebted to my well wishers and friends who gave their great moral support, encouragement and inspiration that words cannot describe.


What Is Social Work?
Social work aims to bring betterment to people, groups, and societies. It deals with all the social problems existing in the society and solves them. It improves the life condition.
What Do Social Workers With Different Specialties Do?
Child, Family, And School Social Workers provide social services and assistance to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families. Some work with senior citizens. Others work in employee assistant programs helping workers cope with job-related problems or personal problems that can affect their jobs. 
Medical and Public Health Social Workers provide psychosocial support to those affected by chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. They work with patients, families, and caregivers. 
Mental Health And Substance Abuse Social Workers work with people with mental illness or substance abuse problems, such as abuse of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs. Services they provide include individual and group therapy, outreach, crisis intervention, social rehabilitation, and training in skills of everyday living.
