IMPLEMENTATION AND IMPACT ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
Supply chain management is the active management of supply chain activities to maximize customer value and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. It represents a conscious effort by the supply chain firms to develop and run supply chains in the most effective & efficient ways possible. Supply chain activities cover everything from product development, sourcing, production, and logistics, as well as the information systems needed to coordinate these activities. Supply chain management involves coordinating and integrating these flows both within and among companies. Supply chain management flows can be divided into three main flows: The product flow, the information flow & the finances flow.
The product flow includes the movement of goods from a supplier to a customer, as well as any customer returns or service needs. The information flow involves transmitting orders and updating the status of delivery. The financial flow consists of credit terms, payment schedules, and consignment and title ownership arrangements. Elite Chemical Industries Limited is the best local paint manufacturing company in Bangladesh. The founder of Elite Paint Group of Companies, late Mr. Sirajuddin Ahmed, became engaged in paint business in 1952 and within a very short time he established a paint- producing industry named “Elite Chemical Industries”. The company started its journey with a very small amount of capital and after producing the products in the limited area of the factory he started marketing his paint products in the local market. The goodwill of Elite Paint began to increase day by day and Elite Paint slowly strengthened its position in the local market. Now they are focusing on Supply Chain Management due to its vast enhancement all over the business. From the raw material supply & production to the hand of the customer, Supply Chain Management involve in every aspect. They are doing well in terms of their partner relationship management as well as Supply Chain Management and they are getting benefited from practicing the SCM. In supply chain dept, the Head of Factory, Head of Sales & Marketing, and Research & Development dept. are involved for their mutual benefit. From our judgment, Elite Paint need more specialize people to recruit in the SCM for the rapid growth and become number in the industry as well its sister concern.
1.1 Origin of the Report:
This report is based on the Project on a particular company for Supply Chain Management (SCM) Course. In this course we have learned about the implementation and consequences of using Supply Chain Management. As a part from our course we assigned by our course teacher to prepare this project report. We have chosen Elite Chemical Industries Ltd. (Elite Paint) because we have the interest in this sector as well as we want to find out the current position of a particular position.

Ø To figure out the Partner facilitating in Supply Chain Management of ELITE CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES LTD.
Ø To find out the Partner Relationship.
Ø To figure out the Supply Chain Management performance of the Elite Chemical Industries Ltd. (ECIL)
Ø Performance of the Firm as a result of SCM practices ECIL
1.3 Limitation of the Study:
The main limitation that we have faced in the Elite paint is information collection and interview schedule problem. Most of the time they break the interview schedule and some of the information are classified to disclose.
1.4 Scope of the study:
Supply Chain Management mainly starts from the factory of a manufacture organization. Therefore our scope is the factory, the supply chain management practices and its impact of the practices as well.

All the information incorporated in this report has been collected from the primary and secondary sources. For the organization part, information had been collected from different published articles, journals, brochures and web sites.

The founder of Elite Paint Group of Companies, late Mr. Sirajuddin Ahmed, became engaged in paint business in 1952 and within a very short time he established a paint- producing industry named “Elite Chemical Industries”. The company started its journey with a very small amount of capital and after producing the products in the limited area of the factory he started marketing his paint products in the local market. Training measures are taken in the supply chain management of Elite Paint to ensure best quality service to the outlets as well as the consumers and maintain trustworthy relationship with its partners.
