This study is concerned with the impact of waterlogging in South-Western region of Bangladesh. The people of the particular region have been suffering from waterlogging for years. The South-Western region of Bangladesh experienced flood in 2000. Since then waterlogging has become a yearly phenomenon. The South-Western region is the most fertile region over the world. The region is unique and sensitive in terms of ecology and environment. River estuaries of the region are the largest fishery and aquatic resource of the country and people of the region have unique traditional expertise and techniques of cultivation.
