Internship report on Short term Budget and Performance evaluation of Falcon Group

This internship paper is a basic course requirement of the BBA program. The topic has been determined by the closed supervision of NAFISA ROUNOK, lecturer of finance, bachelor of business administration, Jagannth University ,Dhaka.

The main purpose of the report is to consider the short term budget and performance evaluation of “Falcon Group”.
The internship project is both descriptive and exploratory in nature. The exploratory research will be conduct to measure the employee satisfaction level based on strategy by Falcon Group.

Performance analysis is very important in this sector. My report is made to base on FALCON GROUP. This study is not shows the result of entire garments industries.

For this reason production administration is a vital matter of concern to everybody. In view of importance of this arena, I have undertaken a study and submit a report. This report mainly focuses on the performance of Falcon Group.

Shahjalal Islami bank Limited is a private commercial bank which is 6th Islamic Shariah based bank in Bangladesh. The Bank started its operation on 10th May 2005, during this period it could improve its image in the society as an Islamic Bank. Now it has 74 branches in Bangladesh. All branches are situated in the highly commercial areas.
As a new bank, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has been competing with other private banks where all the banks are adopting different incentive programs to attract the customers. Accordingly, SJIBL is offering different type of deposit scheme bearing highest rate of return. Mudaraba Deposit Scheme, Monthly income scheme and Millionaire Scheme are the most popular offers that are completely new innovation in the banking sector and widely accepted by the clients.

As a student of Department of Banking, every student has to conduct a practical orientation i.e., Internship on any organization (preferably in banks) for fulfilling the requirements of the EMBA program. The main purpose of the program is to know the real world situation and to get a glimpse of the corporate culture. In this regard, I have the opportunity to submit the report from my experience while working as an Internee in Principal Branch of Social Islami Bank Ltd (SIBL). Only theoretical knowledge without any practical experience makes a person sterile. On the other hand a person having practical experience but no theoretical exposure keeps him blind. The internship program is designed to overcome such sterile position. Here, I got an opportunity to realize the relevance and usefulness of the classroom learning and day to day operational experience in Social Islami Bank Limited.
