The University of Dhaka is one of the leading institutions of higher education in South Asia. The highly deemed institution is also known as Oxford of the East. All the students of the entire country have a dream to get admitted in this famous university. The university has a well established system of admission in the undergraduate program and graduate program. The students of this university are the assets of the country and they are expected to be the leaders and manpower for the country who will lead the country’s economic, social, and political development. According to a recent survey, 65% students are from outside Dhaka city and admitted in various academic programs. Every year our government allocates a huge amount of budget to the university. But due to under capacity of the residential halls and hostels most of the students do not get sits in there and they resides in different private hostels which are really expensive for them and those who can not afford those private hostels reside in cheap mace which are unhealthy and filthy. Students, who reside in mace, face food and other support crisis. Most of the halls are overcrowded as because there are limited sits available for around 35,000 students and in some cases it is seen that more than 6 students are residing in a fifty square feet room. Female hall situation is more horrible. Even dining space of hall is used for sleeping. Food and health facilities are inadequate. Per three thousand students there is one residential doctor available. These are the problems on which the research proposal is based.

Research Proposal On Maternal Mortality report in Bangladesh
Maternal death is the death of a woman while pregnant or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy, irrespective of the duration and site of the pregnancy, from any cause related to or aggravated by the pregnancy or its management but not from accidental or incidental causes. To facilitate the identification of maternal deaths in circumstances in which cause of death attribution is inadequate, a new category has been introduced: Pregnancy-related death is defined as the death of a woman while pregnant or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy, irrespective of the cause of death.
Research Proposal on Smoking Prevalence
Smoking is a global
public health concern. It is now recognized as a major public health problem in
the developing world. To our knowledge, no study explicitly analyzed smoking
among the general male students living or non living in the residential halls
located in the premises of Dhaka University of Bangladesh. Therefore, such
information is seriously lacking in case of Bangladesh.
The study will investigate
smoking behavior and attitudes among two groups of male students: the first
will consist of a number of students selected from the graduation level of
different subjects; the second will include the students from the level of post
graduation. Data will be collected largely by interview supplemented by some
direct observation and relevant secondary data. The study will aim to identify
the depth of the prevalence of smoking among the students of the University of
Dhaka, the largest and greatest university of Bangladesh.
Research Proposal on Factors about the Educational Facilities for re-establishment in Bangladesh
Educational attainment is part of who are and what we want to become. The same feeling could be felt for the children of the sex workers in Bangladesh. But unfortunately the system of education for these children in Bangladesh is subjected to the dependence of NoN- Goverment organizational sources. Over the years variety of complications grew out of several conditions and factors that affect the process of educational attainment of these students. In spite of all the barriers and obstacles, these students are making their own position and securing a place at Nation.
